Recognizing a scam, or over-hyped, internet scheme can be very difficult. There are so many "get rich quick" schemes on the internet it is hard to tell which money making opportunities are legit and which ones just want to take your money. A good place to start is by going to scam.com and talking to people who have either tried the opportunity you are looking at or can at least give you some insight as to whether it is legit or not.
